First time here and had the best experience. The food is amazing and they treat you like you are family. Would highly recommend this place.

This place is the one I always prefer. I visit a lot of restaurants but here I go the most. The stuff is very warm and the cooking they offer is so flavorful. I am always happy to have a good dinner in this restaurant. Highly recommended.

I love to come every week to this Restaurant, I completely recommend to visit this place. Practically, the staff make you feel like part of the Shogun Family. The food is really tasty , fresh and high quality.Other thing, they have the best Tuna Tataki in town , from 11 30 am to 2 pm they offer an amazing lunchbox only for 13 CAD , amazing deal.

Wow... despite the Covid-19 chaos, we had a craving for some tasty sushi ! Been going to Shogun for about 30yrs and have really enjoyed the tasty and fresh sushi that they offer. We ordered some Toro, salmon, unagii, chop chop and a rainbow roll were all top notch ! Really miss seating at the sushi bar. Thank you for an amazing dinner tonight! Will be back for more take out !!

I was extremely impressed with the service at Shogun. You can certainly tell that it's a family owned business. The food came quick and was delicious! I would definitely recommend and I plan on returning.

Wow! An absolute experience! Great service and even better food. I know it's a Japanese restaurant, but that had to have been one of the best, if not best steak that I have ever had! And I'm Albertan, I've had A LOT of steak in my lifetime. Also, if you're a sushi lover, get the Chop Chop cone. It's delicious. And one last thing, it's gets a little bit toasty on the eyebrows of you sit at the cooking table.

The staff are some of the nicest people you will ever meet and you can tell they care deeply about the quality of their food and service. I have sampled numerous dishes and have yet to come across something that wasn't incredibly delicious and flavorful! I highly recommend making this a frequent stop on your dine out list!

Thanks to Cheiko for posting photos of the menu on google. I am happy with my take out order. Portions and quality were great. Everything was packed neatly and we were given a generous amount of soy sauce, ginger and wasabi. We have leftovers for once because everyone was super stuffed. I noticed dine in is available for those interested. I give the chef and team two thumbs up.

I've been coming here for years. I find this place lack consistency both in terms of the service and food. Some days the service and food are both excellent and others not so much. Overall, it is still a pretty decent restaurant to dine given reasonable price point.
